Oliverio is a young poet who maintains complex relationships with life and women. Together with his friends he leads a bohemian existence that forces him to occasionally sell his ideas to an advertising agency. The rest of the time he exchanges romantic poems for money in the streets as vehicles pass by. He thinks he can accept anything in a woman: the shape of her breasts, the feel of her skin, or the shape of her nose... there is only one thing that he considers essential: she must know how to "fly"... In his constant search for the ideal woman, he crosses the Río de la Plata to Montevideo, where he meets and sympathizes with Ana, a cabaret prostitute, with whom he falls in love. This relationship transforms Oliveiro and makes him discover the dark side of the heart.
