Around the year 1000, it seems that in the Iberian Peninsula there was a kind of truce between the Moors and Christians. But this relative peace is cut short with the arrival of an Arab sheikh, Abengalbon, to a Christian town. The Arabs invade the place and the peasants rebel, being crushed by them.
