Gerard (Jean-François Calvé), a young student at the Sorbonne in Paris, is captivated by the little-known fact of the Phoenicians' maritime expeditions. Gerard remembers that years ago, during a vacation, he found some remains of an amphora. He shows it to his teacher and he confirms that these remains are indeed Phoenician. Lacking money, he decides to look for partners to begin the search for what could be a great treasure and with them, he moves to the place where he had found the amphora. During one of the dives he observes above his head the evolution of a beautiful figure, it is Manina (Brigitte Bardot), a young woman he had met five years ago when she was 12 years old and who has now become a beautiful and attractive young woman with a statuesque body.
