Sequel to 'A full gas' (The Fast and the Furious). Brian O Connor (Paul Walker), a disgraced cop, was addicted to speed and now he's paying a price for it. As his former bosses and senior FBI officials see it, this undercover agent ruined one of the most important investigations they had undertaken. Seeing his different loyalties put to the test after having infiltrated the world of clandestine night racing in Los Angeles, O Connor uncovered his identity and let the head of a criminal gang flee on his prepared racing motorcycle. O Connor's decision allowed him to retain his honor, but caused him to lose his badge and any chance of rehabilitation. Now time has passed, O Connor is in another city and has one last chance. The Miami feds are having a hard time apprehending Carter Vellone (Cole Hauser), a businessman who uses his import-export business as a cover for an international money laundering cartel. Customs has been putting Verone under strict surveillance for a year, and the only thing they have been able to establish is its connection to illegal street racing. Time is running out, and the agents decide to call O Connor to do what he knows how to do better than anyone: infiltrate the drivers again. But this individualistic man who is not fond of regulations sets some conditions to accept the mission that may allow him to recover his insignia. The first: working with his childhood friend and former criminal Roman Pearce (Tyrese), another speed sufferer.
