Four people gather on New Year's Eve in one of the tallest buildings in all of London with the intention of jumping into the void. They are Martin (Pierce Brosnan), a famous TV personality who has fallen from grace. Maureen (Toni Collette), a troubled single mother. Jess (Imogen Poots), a sassy teenager, and JJ (Aaron Paul), a young musician who survives as a pizza delivery boy. The four of them are desperate, but they decide to make a pact: not to jump and help each other, at least until Valentine's Day, to try to get through that difficult moment of their lives together.
