Synopsis:
Disc 1. The Movie:
Ennis del Mar and Jack Twist meet while waiting in line for rancher Joe Aguirre to hire them. The two young people seem sure of their rightful place in Signal (Wyoming): getting a stable job, getting married and starting a family; However, they long for something beyond what they can express. When Aguirre sends them to work as cattle drivers on the majestic Brokeback Mountain, a feeling of camaraderie arises between them that leads to an intimate relationship. At the end of the summer, the two have to leave Brokeback and follow different paths. Ennis remains in Wyoming and marries Alma, the love of his life, with whom he has two daughters. Meanwhile, Jack leaves for Texas, where he marries Lureen Newsome and has a son. After four years of separation, chance brings Ennis and Jack together again.
