A Coffee on Any Corner tells the story of Ahmad, a former Pakistani rock star, who sells coffee and donuts in the heart of Manhattan. Ahmad supplements his income through the sale of porn DVDs, this allows him to save enough money to achieve one of his dreams, living with dignity with a son he barely knows.
It is a cruel life full of humiliations. But Ahmad carries it with stoic dignity and sensitivity. Suddenly, two events in his life cause it to take a turn: the arrival of a young Spanish woman, who works down the street in a newsstand, and the offer of help from a young Pakistani man who reminds him of the old life that Ahmad He was a rock star.
