A very special orchestra. Excellent comedy, worthy of the best Frank Capra. Part of the difficulties of John Cardwell, a musician who plays the trombone, in finding work. Despite the many efforts he has made to join the orchestra of the famous symphonic conductor Leopold Stokowski, he has not just had a chance. To avoid having to explain to his landlady, he assures his daughter, the charming Patsy, that Stokowski has finally hired him. It is not true, but when the girl discovers the truth she is not scared. Full of enthusiasm, she receives a promise from the wife of a radio boss that one of her programs will sponsor an orchestra composed exclusively of unemployed musicians. He is not aware that his 'sponsor' is a frivolous woman, capable of promising anything only to forget it the next minute.
