Diana, Countess of Belflor, is an attractive, imaginative, insightful, impulsive and voluble young woman who is attracted to her secretary Teodoro. An attraction that she turns into love when she finds out that he has become engaged to Marcela, a lady who is also at his service. Full of envy and jealousy upon learning of the love affairs of her subordinates, she communicates her passion to Teodoro and he, who is also not indifferent to Diana and her title, breaks up with Marcela. A few days later Diana receives two suitors belonging to the nobility from whom she chooses her future husband. Upon seeing himself rejected, Teodoro tries to reconcile with Marcela, but upon seeing them together again, Diana makes Teodoro understand that she still loves him despite not having noble blood. Teodoro, helped by his lackey Tristán, hatch a plan to put Diana in her place, who, as Teodoro admits, does not want her to be his or Marcela's, and if I stop looking at her, he will then look for some entanglement to talk to me about. Don't doubt, naturally, the dog belongs to the gardener: it neither eats nor leaves food, it is neither outside nor inside.
