This film places the legendary hero Hercules with Prince Ulysses, en route to Thebes to fulfill an important diplomatic mission. During a break, Hercules drinks from a certain spring that causes him to lose his memory. In such a situation he falls into the hands of the soldiers of the perfidious Queen of Lydia, who turns the muscular demigod into her loving king.
