"Transsiberian" is a thriller set on the mythical railway that connects European Russia with the provinces of the Russian Far East, Mongolia and China. After a season in Beijing, Roy and Jessie decide to travel to Moscow. The people who travel on the monstrous and somewhat gloomy train are quite strange and a salesman explains to them that traffickers usually use it to smuggle drugs. Shortly after beginning their trip, the couple establishes a relationship with their compartment mates. Ian and Abby dedicate themselves to traveling the world giving English classes and buying objects in a country to resell them later, such as some matryoshka dolls that Ian claims to sell in Amsterdam. at a very good price. Their paths will cross with that of Inspector Grinko, who travels from Vladivostok following the steps of the murderers of a drug trafficker and an important stash.
