Zinos, the young restaurant owner, is down on his luck. His girlfriend Nadine has moved to Shanghai for work, she has a herniated disc and her regular customers have abandoned her since she hired a new cook. But when word spreads about his new restaurant concept, people line up to eat at the "Soul Kitchen." This does not heal Zinos's broken heart, who decides to board a plane to join Nadine in China, and entrusts the restaurant to his brother Illias, a rather impulsive but kind-hearted ex-convict.
