Suzanne (Kristin Scott Thomas) is a well-to-do woman in her forties, married to a doctor, with children, and living in the south of France. But she can't get used to living without working, so she decides to return to practicing as a physiotherapist, like before having the children. She finally manages to convince her husband to help her open a practice.
