One night in 1990, three men and three weapons coincide in the lobby of the Italian consul's house in Madrid. There is only Elena, her daughter, in the house, anxiously awaiting the arrival of a camel that will bring her a horse. The three men are: Víctor Plaza, (an immature and marginal teenager) and a couple of police officers, David (25 years old) and Sancho (40). The television broadcasts "Essay of a crime" by Luis Buñuel. In another Madrid neighborhood, Clara, Sancho's wife, waters the plants on her terrace, unconscious but not oblivious to the drama that is occurring in the lobby of the consul's house. A violent argument breaks out between the three men. There is a lot of confusion and a lot of "crossing of wires." One of the guns goes off. The bullet hits David right in the spine.
