In the 1920s, Constante and Sante are two inseparable children. They share games and pranks in a small, poor town in Northern Italy. Despite their different characters, they are both united by the same passion: cycling. Fate forces them to separate and their lives take completely opposite paths. Constante will go far, competing in the most prestigious cycling races and becoming a National Champion. Meanwhile, Sante uses his bicycle as an instrument that will also make him famous, but in true Robin Hood style, to steal and give it to the poorest.
