Gordon Miller is rehearsing a musical comedy in the attic of his assigned suite at the Gribble Hotel. Miller is broke and the hotel bill begins to become a problem and his nerves begin to fail in such a situation. Things get even more complicated when Glen Russell, the playwright-author, arrives at the hotel to see how the play is going. But it turns out that Russell can sing like Frank Sinatra and Miller can convince Lady Christine to perform the play. Can Miller's imaginary machinations save the play and resolve the situation?
