Susie (Kiersey Clemons) is a college student with an insatiable love of crime novels who records a true crime podcast. Far from being the popular girl, she takes care of her sick mother and volunteers at the sheriff's department. But everything changes when Jesse (Alex Wolff), the campus heartthrob and social media sensation, is kidnapped.
