Live Forever tells the story of Sam, an eleven-year-old boy who loves data and collecting spooky stories and fantastical events. He would also like to know what it feels like to take the first sip of beer, to secretly take the first drag on a cigarette, or to kiss a girl. Sam wants to know how teenagers feel because he won't be one: he has leukemia. Although the adults only respond with ambiguities, he wants to know all the data and details about his death. He is willing to find out the answers to all his questions that no one wants to tell him and that is why he decides to write a book. A book that is his diary and at the same time a scientific investigation with his observations and a list of the things he wants to do before he dies.
