Iñaki (Jon Plazaola), a full-blooded Basque, is trapped in Seville when his domineering mother, Maritxu, has an accident during a vacation. But love sweeps into his life in the form of Carmen (María León), an irresistible Andalusian nurse. Their meeting is a real train wreck. One comes from the north, productive and meticulous, but loaded with emotional deficiencies; and another comes from the south, chaotic, colorful and temperamental, although full of life and the talent to live it. A love story... not so impossible.
Little by little, Carmen and Iñaki's relationship is consolidating. Although a new obstacle soon appears that they did not count on: Antonio, Carmen's father, a rude and traditional field mayor for whom Iñaki will never be able to live up to his daughter. If Maritxu was implacable, next to Antonio she will seem like a little lamb.
Because of the unfortunate incident that Don Benjumea suffers when he was traveling in a balloon with Maritxu, the entire north-south world will be destabilized and the characters will have to learn to live more than ever with those who are different. In this way, some from the north will have to travel to the south, and some from the south will have to travel to the north. The change is not only geographical, but also identity... so much so that some character may even question their sexual orientation.
