

Etienne Alexis (Paul Meurisse) is a medical researcher who works on assisted reproduction through artificial insemination, a great novelty of his time, supporting the idea that such a discovery can mean a change in human relationships by suppressing the passionate behaviors of the need for procreation. After announcing on television his wedding to Countess Marie-Charlotte Von Werner (Ingrid Nordine), Etienne invites his fiancée to celebrate their wedding with a meal in the countryside.
