After achieving perfect form, Cell challenges the world of form in the form of the Cell Game, a martial arts tournament with the fate of humanity at stake. Cell has absorbed Androids No. 17 and No. 18 and has achieved perfection, leading the world into a nightmare future. After allowing Cell to reach the perfect form, Vegeta gets the challenge he wanted and although he and Trunks unleash their full power, they are crushed by the android's immeasurable perfect form. But when everything seems lost, Cell surprises everyone with the announcement of a martial arts tournament, the Cell Game, and issues an ultimatum: if no one manages to defeat him, he will exterminate humanity.
