John Nada is a homeless man who finds work on a construction site in Los Angeles. One of his companions, Frank Armitage, finds him accommodation in a shanty town. There he notices strange behavior in a small church. Behind a false ecclesiastical activity hides a laboratory that emits clandestine television signals.
