On his first day of high school, Kyon meets Haruhi Suzumiya, an eccentric girl who will turn his quiet everyday life into pure madness. “I have no interest in ordinary human beings. If any of you are an alien, a time traveler or an esper, please come see me.” These are the words with which Haruhi Suzumiya introduces herself to the rest of the class on her first day of high school. Among his companions is Kyon, who assumes that he is hesitating to all of them. But – spoiler alert – it was no joke.
