INCLUDES A 32-PAGE BOOKLET WITH TEXTS BY XAVI SÁNCHEZ PONS ABOUT THE DIRECTOR AND LA PRODUCTION
Fernando León de Aranoa, the award-winning Spanish director of “Los Lunes al Sol” and “El Buen Patrón”, in his second film addresses this gritty story that takes place in a neighborhood on the outskirts of Madrid, where Javi, Manu and Rai are three fifteen-year-old high school friends who spend most of their time on the street. There they feel better than at home, where the ghosts of unemployment, drugs and violence are always present. Together they see how difficult it is to leave the neighborhood, in short, how difficult it is to grow up. But time in that environment passes more slowly, and in summer, as you know, there is a lot of free time. Too much to not spend it getting into trouble.
