Biopic sobre la vida del monarca Juan Carlos de Borbón, rey Juan Carlos I de España, que narra su infancia en Madrid, su llegada al trono, sus primeros noviazgos y su matrimonio con Doña Sofía, entre otros aspectos de su vida personal.
