A Mexican legend says that the devil asks for souls so that bridges do not fall when they are built. This film follows the story of several of the workers who participate in the construction of a second floor on the outskirts of Mexico City. Although in reality all this is a pretext to get closer to everyday life, to dreams and to the extraordinary dignity to live humor, romance and the small moments that will culminate in the food that the devil needs for that bridge to remain standing.
