Documentary about the sexual scandals of the Catholic Church in the United States. This disturbing document tells the story of Father Oliver OGrady, the most notorious pedophile in modern church history. A compulsive, remorseless sexual predator, OGrady used his charm and authority as a religious leader to rape dozens of children from Catholic families throughout Northern California over more than 20 years. Despite hints and complaints from several parishioners, the Church hierarchy hatched an elaborate plan to mask his crimes and discredit his accusers while moving Father OGrady from parish to parish. Internal church documents show that he raped and sodomized with the full knowledge of his superiors. Director Amy Berg contacted Father O Grady, and miraculously persuaded him to intervene in the filming of the documentary. Using their chilling testimony as a starting point, the film exposes the high level of corruption within the Catholic Church, and encourages some of the victims to narrate their harrowing experiences.
