2007 is the International Polar Year and, for this reason, Al Filo de lo Imposible wanted to pay tribute to the beauty of the frozen landscapes of the Earth. It is a monograph in six chapters dedicated to the last corner of the Earth: Antarctica. It is the first time that Edge of the Impossible undertakes a work of this magnitude and it has taken several expeditions to the frozen continent to offer viewers a complete vision of the last corner of the Earth. The result of the maturity of a television team with 25 years of work in extreme situations and more than 230 documentaries made. These documentaries about the great frozen surface of the planet are made with the purpose of understanding it, sharing it and enjoying it as documentaries allow: with images, music and words for communication, for reflection and even for fantasy. It is a tribute to what Nansen called “the great adventure of ice, deep, pure as infinity.”
