Remake of Yoshiyuki Tomino's series "Reideen the brave" from 1975. Junki Saiga is a typical high school student, he lives with his mother and his little sister Kuraka. One day, the police call at his house and inform them that they found the remains of his father, an archaeologist who disappeared 10 years ago, in the ruins of Kurokami (Black God) Mountain. The ruins form a bizarre pyramid located in Iwate prefecture. The heads of the family travel to the ruins. But Junki unconsciously arrives at the archaeological site and sees a strange illusion. When he wakes up, he finds himself holding a gold bracelet in his hand, with ancient inscriptions that say “The Great Reideen.”
