Khumba is a zebra with only half of his body striped that everyone blames for the lack of rain. Due to great pressure from the pack, he decides to embark on a daring mission to get all the stripes he is missing. In his search for the legendary water hole from which all the zebras obtained their precious lines, Khumba will meet a series of very extravagant characters: an overprotective wildebeest, Mama V and Bradley, an obsessed ostrich. The zebra will have to face the evil Phango, a sadistic leopard who controls the water wells in the area and terrorizes all the animals in the Great Karoo.
