NARCOTIC - was the second film directed by Dwain Esper and shows us how a single night of ecstasy causes more than a thousand nights of torture. The protagonist is William G. Davies, a promising doctor who, in a moment of weakness, will destroy everything he had achieved by spending a night in an opium den and becoming a hopeless addict. The consequence of his flirtation with narcotic substances will not only end his career but will lead him to live and work in a traveling fairground show until his life is reduced to ashes. MARIJUANA - will show us how a simple joint can turn Burma Blondie Roberts, a good girl who makes a single bad decision at a party, into a dirty and vulgar slut, an accomplice to a murder and a single mother who ends up selling heroin. The Exploitation pioneer, Dwain Esper, returns to the fray with this film again in collaboration with his wife, the screenwriter and producer Hildegarde Stadie.
