In this musical comedy, a young girl with a great imagination gets into a series of troubles when she tries to make her stories come true. Gloria Harkinson is the teenage daughter of Gwen Taylor, a renowned actress who has sent Gloria to boarding school in Switzerland to keep her out of the public eye. Partly it's for her own good but on the other hand it's because Gwen prefers that people not know that she is old enough to have a daughter that age. Gloria has fun with herself and wins the admiration of her classmates when she begins to tell her extraordinary stories about her millionaire father's return to the world. However, the reality is different. Her mother is divorced and Gloria has no recognized father so far. After some time, his friends become skeptical and demand evidence of his father's existence.
