20 years before Lost was a mass phenomenon, these two science fiction films already talked about common themes such as great electromagnetic forces, mysterious time travel and protagonists "lost" in the maelstrom of events THE END OF LA COUNTDOWN In Off the coast of Hawaii, a modern and enormous American Navy aircraft carrier is involved in a gigantic and strange storm that causes the ship to disappear. After the storm, the captain and crew discover that they have traveled back in time, specifically to December 7, 1941, the day Japanese planes bombed the Pearl Harbor base. THE PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT In 1943 two young naval officers voluntarily took part in a highly secret military experiment that consisted of preventing their ship from being detected by enemy radar. An unforeseeable error will take them to the future, to the year 1984.
