Agathe Villanova, a feminist woman recently dedicated to politics, returns for a few days to her hometown in the south of France, to help her sister Florence organize the belongings of their mother who died a year ago.
Agathe does not like this region at all, in fact, she left there as soon as she could, but as a good politician she will take advantage of her stay in the area by campaigning for elections.
The sister's family lives in the house with an Algerian maid, Mimouna, and her son Karim. He decides to make, together with his friend Ronsard - a film director in decline - a report on Agathe that will be part of a series of documentaries titled successful women.
