Peoria Babylon is a small city in the State of Illinois. A couple of artist friends, a beautiful woman and an attractive young homosexual, try to start an art gallery, but the business is not entirely profitable since the exhibitions fail to attract a largely conservative audience. One of the young artists, fed up with things not going well, decides to go to Cleveland so he can set up exhibitions there and give free rein to his creativity. But everything changes when a new artist appears in town.
