Year 1969. Danny Winters leaves his loved ones behind when he is kicked out of his parents' house and flees to New York. Homeless and helpless, he befriends Ray and a group of kids from Christopher Street. In Greenwich Village they frequent a bar, the Stonewall Inn, a shady club run by the mafia that houses the community of young gays, lesbians and drag queens.
