There was a time when humans wiped out all magical creatures. Except with one. Koichi Uehara is a student who lives in the suburbs of Tokyo. One day he picks up a large stone that turns out to be the carcass of a baby "Kappa" (a water creature from Japanese mythology) that has been living underground for the last 300 years and decides to name it "Coo".
