Would-be racing champion Lightening McQueen is on the fast track to success, fame and everything he's ever dreamed of - until he takes an unexpected detour on dusty, lonely Route 66. His cocky attitude fades when he reaches a small forgotten community that teaches him the things in life he had forgotten.


CARS takes computer animation to completely new and spectacular levels and features some of Pixar 's best characters to date. The film is directed by John Lasseter, co-founder of Pixar and Creative CEO of Disney. Lightning McQueen is a rookie race car determined to succeed on the tracks. Chance takes him to Radiator Springs, a quiet town on Highway 66 where he will discover that life is a journey and that not everything consists of reaching the finish line first. Crossing the country on his way to the big Piston Cup Championship in California, McQueen meets the town's original characters - including Sally (a flashy 2002 Porsche), Doc Hudson (a 1951 Hudson Hornet with a mysterious past) , and Mate (a loyal rusty crane). All of them will help you understand that there are more important things than getting awards, fame and sponsorships.
