During a journey aboard a night train, God himself meets with his nemesis, Satan, with the sole objective of discussing and finally determining whether the human soul is good or evil by nature. To do this, they will decide to judge three different cases. The first of them tells the terrible story of Harry Billings, a man who has been locked up in a mental hospital after killing his wife in a car accident. In the second story, the libidinous Gretta Connors introduces her young lover to a sinister cult of people fascinated with death. And in the final story, Claire Hansen, a devout Catholic whose husband publicly denies the existence of God, must confront an apprentice of the devil whose only goal is the destruction of humanity. Night Train to Terror (1985) is a cult phenomenon on par with Ed Wood's most infamous films, often compared to Plan 9 from Outer Space due to its hilarious dialogue, terrifying editing and its numerous continuity errors. Up to five different directors were necessary to shoot this film, which has, incredible as it may seem, a script by Oscar-winning Philip Yordan (Johnny Guitar, King of Kings) and which has become in its own right a title celebrated at festivals of all kinds. for its psychotrony and endearing eighties look.
