As a former law teacher of the accused, Perry Mason (Raymond Burr) comes to his defense, but his attempts to unravel the mystery behind her suspicious death are impeded when it is discovered that multiple people may have wanted her dead. The Case of the Defiant Daughter: When a father goes to Las Vegas and pulls a gun on the man who drove his brother to suicide, he seems like the obvious culprit. However, the suspect's daughter approaches Perry Mason (Raymond Burr), who happens to be in Las Vegas, and asks that he defend her father. The plot thickens as Ken Malansky (William R. Moses) and Della Street (Barbara Hale) help gather clues that reveal the victim was blackmailing multiple people.
