Sin embargo, varios de sus conciertos para clavecín parecen ser transcripciones de conciertos perdidos para otros instrumentos, por lo que es tentador reconstruirlos, una práctica muy familiar para Bach mismo, quien transcribió muchos conciertos de otros compositores (Vivaldi, Marcello). El oboísta lituano Andrius Puskinigis toca estos conciertos para oboe con un virtuosismo brillante, recién articulado, rápido, transparente e infeccioso.
