Esta biografía trata sobre Galileo, el italiano del siglo XVII que sentó las bases de la ciencia moderna. Galileo se hizo uno de los primeros telescopios del mundo y descubrió las lunas de Júpiter. Apoyó la teoría de Copérnico de que la Tierra giraba alrededor del Sol. Esto lo puso en conflicto con la Iglesia Católica. Amenazándolo con la tortura, la Iglesia lo obligó a retractarse de sus puntos de vista ante un tribunal y lo sentenció a arresto domiciliario. Sin embargo, los juicios y teorías de Galileo inspiraron a otros como Newton y Kepler para demostrar que la Tierra no era el centro del Universo. Hace algunos años, el Papa aceptó que la Tierra gira alrededor del Sol y emitió una rara disculpa por lo que la Iglesia había hecho a Galileo, es decir, la Iglesia Católica se retractó!
